SJF Electric, formerly Don Electrics was founded in 1970 by Don Iddon, and electrician from Blackburn.
Don set his goals to focus on the industrial and commercial sectors within the industry and after the first 9 months he decided to apply to various local authorities via procurement process to become a framework contractor for multiple councils.
During 1978 Don was successful by winning the 4 year tender for Lancashire County Council (LCC) electrical reactive and planned maintenance contract covering the entire Lancashire county in multiple educational and county owned dwellings. 45 years on and we are the longest serving unbroken and continuous electrical framework contractor for LCC and having recently won the rolling 4 years again!
